Knicks owner James Dolan was displaced from his trademark Madison Square Garden baseline seat by the bench for Sunday's All-Star Game, and, according to an NBA source, the change didn't sit well with Dolan.
Dolan's normal chair was taken away to make room for the performance stage. Instead, the owner sat on the opposite baseline closer to the basket stanchion.
Dolan also got a little ribbing at the Legends Brunch at the Javits Center. Host Ernie Johnson, out of the blue, reached into his coat pocket and said: "I just got the craziest email from Jim Dolan.''
The crowd snickered at the reference to Dolan's inappropriate email to an angry Knicks fan that went public.
