Well-heeled fans of spy series "Homeland" were freaking when the latest episode didn't air on Sunday night.

Katie Couric tweeted, "Help! I can't find Homeland! Anyone on Time Warner in NYC? #bummer."

Other media mavens took their concerns straight to the top.

A spy said that when Showtime CEO Matt Blank dined at his usual table at Michael's on Monday, "Everyone kept stopping by his table asking what happened to 'Homeland.' They wanted to know if something was wrong."

Blank was overheard explaining the series' third-to-last episode of the season was just held to take a Thanksgiving-weekend break.

Making matters more dire for die-hards, the show's in the midst of a cliffhanger.
