The buzz going around the tech world right now might be Apple's recently unveiled products — the Apple Watch and the iPhone 6 — but they might have legal troubles on the horizon.

OK Go, the band popular for its innovative viral music videos, told Bloomberg BusinessWeek the gadget company might have stolen their concept for an advertisement.

One of the band's latest videos for the song "The Writing's On the Wall" shares some similarities with a video advertisement called "Perspective" released by Apple yesterday. Both videos use optical illusions to spell out words in their videos.

The band's manager, Andy Gershon, told BusinessWeek OK Go discussed a collaboration with Apple that did not pan out. The band continued on and made their music video for "The Writing's On the Wall," which has totaled over 10 million views on YouTube.

Gershon, however, claims Apple also hired the same production company and director to make their advertisement. He said the band is considering its legal options.

The advertisement was first shown during the beginning of the Apple webcast on Tuesday, which was plagued by issues throughout its online broadcast.
