The What: Never one to shy away from le drama, Lhuillier embraced it fully with eye catching jewel tones like emeralds and rubies, tons of tulle, bordello level fringe and rich graphics in suiting and trumpet gowns. Dresses with drop waists, feathers and embroidery reflected an art-deco inspiration for the collection.
T he Highlight: A strapless black gown that looked like golden fireworks exploded on the fabric was both opulent and classic while a scarlet lace dress with exposed tulle and a cascading hemline was a real red alert.
