A Brooklyn middle-school teacher needed so badly to blow off some steam, she left her kids home alone while she got a tattoo and hit the bars with her husband — landing her in jail on child-endangerment charges, police sources said.
Laura Aguero, 35, who teaches science at MS 88 in Park Slope, and hubby Alfredo Bobe, 41, left their sons, 4, 5 and 12 years old, at their apartment in Sunset Park for "several hours," according to police sources.
But while the wild-child parents were away, neighbors heard a loud crash coming from inside the home on 52nd Street near Third Avenue at around 3:15 a.m. — and called cops, police sources said.
Cops discovered the young boys unsupervised and stayed with them until the couple stumbled home and began to drunkenly fight outside at around 3:55 a.m., police sources and neighbors said.
It's not the first time the teacher — who has worked for the Department of Education since 2004 and earns $78,661 a year — has run into trouble.
In April 2003, the couple allegedly got into a brawl with another couple outside of a McDonald's restaurant in Fort Greene, according to police.
Then in June 2011, she got mad at her husband, chucked his bike in front of a moving car, and was charged with criminal mischief, police sources said.
The following year, she hit a vendor at the school over the head with an orange parking cone, a source said.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Education said, "While this alleged behavior is not school-related, it is unacceptable. Ms. Aguero . . . has been reassigned away from any classroom, and will not be in contact with students."
Aguero was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child for leaving them unattended for a long period of time late at night.
Bobe was charged with criminal mischief and acting in a manner injurious to a child.
