André Saraiva creates ‘mini club’ that admits only five people

Getting into hot spots during Fashion Week can be tough, even for those "on the list."

Night life impresario André Saraiva took exclusivity to absurd levels as part of his latest project: The Le Baron co-founder and street artist teamed with Paul Sevigny's Baby Grand to create a "mini-club" within the Tribeca spot with a five-person capacity.

The space was situated behind a tiny pink door, an itty-bitty velvet rope and a looming doorman.

A neon sign above the entrance read "Beatrice," a nod to Sevigny's short-lived but legendary West Village club that closed in 2009. Saraiva's idea was inspired by his exhibitions at The Hole NYC and Lisbon's Mude Museum, where he displayed a mini-city behind a clubby door.
