Gwyneth ‘consciously couples’ with blow dry bar

Gwyneth Paltrow, actress, health enthusiast and Goop entrepreneur, is now expanding on her blow-dry bar career.

Paltrow and her longtime stylist David Babaii are partnering with Blo Blow Dry Bar, a franchise operation that has its sights set on global blow-dry bar domination.

Paltrow had opened a blow-dry bar with Babaii and her trainer, Tracy Anderson, at one of Anderson's locations in California, but this is a new partnership.

Blo CEO Ari Yakobson said he met Babaii and Paltrow a few months ago and was impressed by her business acumen.

"She has ideas on everything, from the look and the feel of the bars to the website and hairstyles we will offer," he said, adding she also has ideas about growth and markets the company will pursue.

Blo has three bars in Manhattan and one on Long Island and plans to open dozens more in New York soon. The company is also in Connecticut and other states.
