A young actress took in a little Shih Tzu mix named Culeo from a Brooklyn animal foster agency — then slapped the shelter with a lawsuit, saying the "vicious" dog attacked her.
Caley Rose Bulinski, 27, now living in LA, says in her suit that the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network "convinced" her to foster the dog in September 2011 but never told her of its "history of abuse and the likelihood that it would attack."
Also, the agency told her Culeo was "a Shih Tzu breed of dog but was in fact a mix breed," says the suit, filed in Brooklyn Supreme Court.
Bulinski described the attack by Culeo in a post on Facebook and Twitter, telling pals she had to cancel her performance that night at The Bitter End nightclub in Greenwich Village.
"My foster dog bit me near and on my mouth and I had to get stitches in 3 places yesterday," it read.
On Facebook, she said she dropped Culeo off with a trainer and hoped the dog would find a good home.
She has since found love with a pup she calls Sadie.
The Brooklyn Animal Foster Network is currently closed for lack of funding.
Bulinski and her lawyer refused to comment.
