A performance of the Broadway hit "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" was halted tonight after an actor sustained an injury during the performance.

A spokesperson did not identify the actor, but said he was taken to the hospital where he was being treated.

The actor's leg was caught underneath a piece of equipment and he was transferred to Bellevue with leg trauma, according to the FDNY.

Five actors and body doubles were injured during early performances of the show, which is believed to be the most expensive play in Broadway history.
