A woman prosecutors say was raped by an FDNY EMT bravely took the stand against him on the first day of his Brooklyn Supreme Court trial today.
The woman testified that Angus Pascall, 36, approached her outside her East Flatbush home in 2001 and conned his way inside by saying he had a package for her neighbor – then whipped out a gun and raped her on the floor.
"He told me to pull down my pants. I was scared," said the woman, now a 34-year-old barista.
Pascall stands accused of sexually assaulting five women in Brooklyn, including an 11-year-old girl he allegedly raped in the elevator of her building in 2010.
Police have said Pascall used a FDNY elevator key to bring the elevator carrying the girl to his floor and to make sure the doors stayed shut during the attack.
Brooklyn assistant district attorney Olatokunbo Olaniyan said DNA evidence recovered from each of the five sexual assaults can be definitively traced to Pascall.
"It's certainly true that some horrible things happened," said defense attorney Edward Friedman. "Mr. Pascall sits here and says he's not guilty."
Pascall was caught after a 20-year-old woman he allegedly forced into his car and raped at gunpoint noted his license plate number.
